Present Pages 21st November @ Mettleworks, Chelmsford

£38.00

Date: Sunday 21st November 2025

Time: 10am - 1pm

Venue: Mettleworks, 2-6 Russell Way, Chelmsford, CM1 3AA

Present Pages is a three-hour creative pause — an opportunity to step out of the noise of daily life and gently reconnect with yourself, with others, and with the small details that truly matter.

Using words, images, collage, scrapbooking and playful experiments on paper, you’ll begin to create a personal journal that celebrates and captures your unique life and experiences. This workshop is about presence and process rather than perfection. This is not an art class — no experience, skill, or “talent” is required. Instead, it’s a space for connection, reflection, and self-expression in a supportive, non-judgemental atmosphere.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with a handful of pages begun, and the inspiration and confidence to continue noticing, celebrating and recording the beauty in your everyday life.

The session will include a refreshment break (refreshments included in ticket price).

Materials are not included in ticket price. Please bring your own sketchbook and favourite materials. At the very minimum you will need something to create in and something to write/draw with. Pencils, pens, crayons or collage are all welcome - there are no rules! If you don’t have any materials or are not sure what to bring, please see what’s included in the Starter Sketchbook Kit in my store. Colour in this kit is created with watercolours - but that’s simply because that is my preferred medium being simple, versatile and portable! Feel free to source the items yourself. Alternatively, you can purchase the kit from the store and have it waiting for you on arrival at the workshop (I don’t make any significant profit on the kits).
